THE FOUNDER
Distinction Dance Company was Founded in 2020 by Professional Dancer, Actress, Award-Winning Choreographer, & Educator, KRISTIN DANIEL
In 2014, Kristin founded Distinction Arts Company, LLC. Since its inception, DAC has produced six Annual Charity Dance Intensive events, Distinction Dance Intensive (DDI), which has generated over 50,000 meals for children in need through Second Harvest Food Bank. The intention of DDI is to not only help bring an end to child hunger in Louisiana and America, but to bring the local dance community together.
Distinction Dance Company was founded with this same desire and purpose.
THE COMPANY
The Distinction Dance Company Program is an Elite Pre-Professional Program designed for serious dancers Ages 5 to 19 who, along with DDC Faculty and Families, share a common goal and commitment to achieve excellence through the following principles:

This is the culture of DISTINCTION. Company Program Members receive thorough, diverse, high-quality education & training, as well as exposure to a variety of choreographers, opportunities, and genres that will prepare them mentally, strengthen them physically, and give them the confidence needed to pursue a successful professional career in any sector of dance: college, commercial, company-style dance.
